Job description
This is a seasonal position beginning in June and continuing for 10 weeks. Potential summer earnings are $8,437 (less applicable taxes).
- The Mental Health Specialist supports the emotional well-being of campers and staff across main and special needs camp.
- Provides guidance behavior, social dynamics, and regulation strategies, partners with staff to implement supportive approaches, and communicates with families as needed.
- Serves as a resource for campers requiring additional emotional support and helps create a positive, inclusive camp environment.
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children strongly preferred.
Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3
45 p.m. beginning June 15th.
