The clinician provides mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for students within a school setting. They collaborate with teachers, parents, and counselors to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and possess a valid New York state license (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC). Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health environment is required.

· Conduct assessments to identify students' mental health needs and strengths. · Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. · Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions within the school setting. · Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support students' mental health. · Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and parents to create supportive environments. · Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. · Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions. · Engage with community resources to support students and families. · Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote mental health and well-being.

You must have: · Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. · Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York state – LMSW (or Limited Permit), LCSW, or LMHC. · Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting. · Strong understanding of child development and school-based interventions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families. · Outgoing personality with the confidence to handle challenging situations and people. · Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of an electronic health record. · Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
