Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language development through hands-on learning and play. Encourage independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions while supporting each child's individual developmental needs. Build positive relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration to support each child's growth and success. Responsibilities

Overview of job responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers using the Early Head Start curriculum. Lead, support, and mentor classroom staff through collaboration, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, complete required screenings and assessments, and coordinate referrals as needed. Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including attendance, lesson plans, observations, health checks, and TSG (Teaching Strategies Gold data). Build positive partnerships with families through ongoing communication and parent engagement. Participate in trainings, meetings, and agency initiatives while supporting the mission and values of the organization.
