Teach introductory French courses through either in-person instruction or remote delivery. Responsibilities include designing course content, conducting office hours, and grading student assignments.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in French or a related field. Applicants are required to submit a CV, a cover letter detailing their teaching approach, and a list of references.
For traditional, in-person courses, the requirements are to meet in-person with the class three times a week when scheduled and hold 1 hour of office hours per week. Faculty will participate in designing their own course (in consultation with the chair of the department). For post-traditional, remote courses, the requirements are to deliver recorded virtual lectures, actively engage with student posts on the discussion board, respond to student questions, and provide feedback and grade assignments. Faculty hold 1 ½ virtual office hours per week. A completed course shell and syllabus are provided.

These positions are benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
