The Qualified Behavior Interventionist provides direct and indirect behavioral support to students, teachers, and administrators to improve regulation and problem-solving. They are responsible for implementing evidence-based behavior supports, analyzing behavioral data, and coaching staff on intervention fidelity.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a Kansas Teaching, School Counseling, or Social Work license. A valid Kansas Driver's License is required, and 3 to 5 years of teaching experience is preferred.
Must be able to use basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine. As well as instructional technology (Smart-boards, clickers, etc.).
