Provide clinically competent treatment, assessment, and intervention programs for student-athletes while documenting care according to standards. Responsibilities include monitoring heat practice plans, teaching CPR/First Aid, and providing coverage during practices and athletic events.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a sports medicine related field and current licensure with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the physical ability to handle equipment and patient movement.
This position may require the ability to use SMART boards and iPads in addition to basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine. Must always comply with USD 259's guidelines for equipment use.
