Our Heart & Purpose East Gate Church is a Christ-centered community dedicated to helping people know God, grow in their faith, and live out His purpose in their daily lives. We are committed to creating an environment where individuals and families can experience God’s love, build meaningful relationships, and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Kid Connect is the children’s ministry of East Gate Church, serving infants through elementary-aged children. Our mission is to partner with families in raising a generation that knows and loves Jesus. Through engaging Bible lessons, prayer, age-appropriate activities, and meaningful relationships, we strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
At East Gate Church and Kid Connect, we believe every child is uniquely created by God, deeply loved by Him, and has a purpose in His Kingdom. We are committed to teaching biblical truth, modeling Christ-like character, and helping children build a strong foundation of faith that will guide them throughout their lives. Your Mission As a Sunday School Teacher (Infant/Toddler Class), you’ll make a difference by helping our mission come to life for the youngest families in our community. This purpose-driven role exists to create a secure, loving space where infants and toddlers can begin to experience Jesus’ love while parents engage in worship.
Ready to contribute to meaningful impact on Sundays? Apply to serve with Kid Connect. A Sunday Snapshot You arrive at 9:00AM to open the Infant/Toddler room, tidy the space, set out toys and books, and take a moment to pray for the children and their families. As check-in begins, you welcome parents warmly, learn any feeding or allergy notes, and help little ones settle in.
During service, the morning flows between gentle routines and joyful moments—simple worship music, a short Bible point, and lots of guided play. You stay attentive to needs and transitions, and you loop in ministry leadership if a parent should be contacted.
