Based on recent Rochester Academy of Science postings for support and special education roles, the position typically includes the following responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group instruction in core subjects such as reading and math. Support students who need additional academic intervention or enrichment. Assist students with learning differences, disabilities, developmental delays, or English language learning needs. Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. Support implementation of student learning plans, including IEP accommodations when applicable.
