Candidates must possess a TECE 1 or TECE 2 certification and meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements. Prior experience in a toddler classroom and strong communication skills are preferred.

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth.
This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child relationships.
Support daily classroom routines for toddler-aged children Encourage language development and positive social interaction Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide children through transitions including meals and classroom routines Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements
TECE 1 or TECE 2 required Prior toddler classroom experience preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
