There is an opening for a Temporary Parting Time Nursing Assistant Instructor at Saint Paul College. Job Duties: Provide classroom instruction, evaluate and advise students. Develop and/or revise curriculum. Be compliant with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments. Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events. Maintain professional and technical knowledge in the field through active participation in professional development organizations and events. Promote and recruit for program within and outside of the College. Promote diversity and cultural competency.
Temporary part-time faculty are paid at a proration of $43,067 - $71,893. Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
Diploma or associate degree in nursing. Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care. One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred Qualification Experience teaching CNA courses. Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
