The Educator-SBH is responsible for teaching courses within the School of Behavioral Health. This includes utilizing educational media and technology to deliver content and managing multiple assignments effectively.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, while a Master's or PhD is preferred. Candidates should have expertise in subject content and professional competence in English writing and speaking.
The Educator-SBH teaches courses in School of Behavior Health. Performs other duties as needed. The hourly rate of pay will be determined commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Minimum $17.00/hr. Maximum $200.00/hr.
Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree or PhD preferred. Minimum one year of experience preferred.
Evidence of expertise in subject content required. Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations. Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner. Professional use and competence in English in writing and speaking; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
License and/or Certification may be required depending on the program taught.
