- Gerard Majella Catholic School provides supervision and care for students after school hours in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
- This role encourages positive social interactions, supports student well-being, and helps maintain a calm and organized setting aligned with the school’s Catholic values.
- Job Responsibilities
Supervise students during after-school care to ensure safety and appropriate behavior Lead and assist with activities such as games, homework time, and quiet play Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment Monitor student behavior and address concerns according to school policies Assist students with homework and provide support as needed Follow proper student check-out procedures to ensure safety Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration Keep the aftercare area clean, organized, and well-maintained
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred Strong supervision and communication skills Ability to manage groups of children in a structured setting Dependable, patient, and responsible Basic organizational and problem-solving abilities Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment Willingness to support the mission and Catholic values of the school The Archdiocese of St.
