USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app This position will serve as the Athletic Trainer for the women’s basketball camp.
The athletic trainer’s main responsibility is to help ensure the health and safety of all campers throughout the duration of camp.
They are responsible for examining, preventing, diagnosing and treating all illnesses and injuries.
They are to urgently communicate with the camp staff any medical concerns as they occur as well as communicate with the child’s parents and/or guardian.
Duties/Responsibilities Health and safety of campers (50%) Providing treatment and care to any injuries and illnesses (25%) Communicate medical concerns to camp staff and parents (25%) Requirements Certified Athletic Trainer Compensation Pay Range: $45.00 per hour The University of New Hampshire is committed to providing a safe environment for all persons, including but not limited to children, and to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect and crimes against children.
All UNH youth program staff shall be subject to a criminal background check as required by NH State Law.
Staff and volunteers will also be required to complete periodic child safety training.
