Adjunct Faculty, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)

Minimum Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or eligibility for licensure in the state.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience in marriage and family therapy.
• Experience teaching, supervising, training, or mentoring adult learners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation or Approved Supervisor Candidate status.
• Experience teaching graduate-level MFT courses.
• Experience in online or hybrid instruction.
• Familiarity with COAMFTE accreditation standards and outcomes assessment processes.
• Experience in clinical supervision of marriage and family therapy trainees. Work Environment: Office Location: Sacramento Campus – Onsite This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, requiring regular in-office presence to support daily operations, collaboration, and student or team engagement. Work is performed primarily on campus in a dynamic academic environment, with direct interaction across multidisciplinary teams. Office Location: Sacramento Campus - Online Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person, video and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. Employee Status: Temporary Exemption Status: United States of America (Exempt) Time Type: Part time Job Shift: Pay Range: Pay Range for Faculty Based on teaching assignment, a reasonable estimate for this position is between $600 - $8000.
