Job description

Description Saint Ann Catholic School in Bartlett, TN has an opening for a part-time 7th & 8th grade Social Studies teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This teacher is one who is passionate about teaching children and will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school Social Studies students. The candidate performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

· BS/BA Degree in Social Studies Education or related field. · Teacher certification preferred. · Must obtain Virtus training. · Excellent classroom management skills. · Strong presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies · Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. · Good spelling and grammar are required. · Proficiency in Google Apps preferred. · Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. · Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
