OSC Utah - Salt Lake City, UT 84111The Associate Registrar will serve as the main resource of FERPA regulations, federal law, state law, and accreditation agencies regarding the compilation and maintenance of learner records. In accordance with the College's published standards, the incumbent will complete transcript evaluations, monitor academic guidelines, process graduation, and keep abreast of regulations and procedures of learner records according to accreditation standards. The Associate Registrar will build learner schedules that support appropriate credit load and continuity in coursework scheduling throughout all nursing programs to enhance learning objectives and ensure the achievement of every learner in the program, overall contributing to the College's mission outcomes through graduation attainment. Updates the Student Information System (SIS) to accurately reflect learners’ personal and academic information Collaborates cross-functionally to plan registration schedules and procedures for learners Evaluates learner transcripts including incoming evaluation of general education, nursing, military, CLEP, and AP, and graduation or outgoing transcripts Monitors academic standing, coordinates probation, suspension, and withdrawal procedures for learners Prepares all learner program plans and works with both registration and admission advisors to help council learners on program changes and schedules Combine all electronic files and complete a full audit to assure all documents have been collected Participates in the an annual compliance audit Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise Qualifications An associate degree is required, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred Minimum of one year of experience in education related to knowledge of FERPA laws Demonstrated knowledge of academic learner record keeping in a setting of higher education Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
