- OSC Utah - Salt Lake City, UT 84111 Assistant Professor I, Evaluator for Nursing Education evaluates experiential learning performance of learners in accordance with course outcomes. Evaluation methods are accomplished through utilizing cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in the discipline by promoting an interdisciplinary approach to advanced practice nursing education and healthcare delivery within and outside the College. The incumbent will be accountable for the assessment of the learners’ achievement in the program and is accountable for Nursing Education Services successful attainment of key performance indicators, program and functional outcomes, and the success of the College’s mission. Adheres to and holds learners accountable to syllabi and grading rubric expectations. Attends nursing faculty meetings, participates in committees, engages in shared decision-making, and other faculty activities as required Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise Qualifications Earned Master’s degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution supplemented by 0-1 year of relevant experience. Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence and ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in any jurisdiction required by the College, including a valid multi-state license. Either has an earned Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commits to obtaining this certification within a one-year period. Maintains current knowledge in multiple areas of nursing practice.
