Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Pharmacy Technician Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Pharmacy Technician courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Tech program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
  • Certification:
  • PTCB and/or
  • ExCPT
  • At least three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
  • Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
