Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one assistance to students with diverse learning needs, helping them to excel academically and develop essential skills. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a supportive and flexible environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
- Provide guidance and encouragement to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and instructional techniques to enhance students' comprehension and retention of material.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and educators to track students' progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and behavioral observations.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines, including confidentiality and child protection protocols.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working with students in a tutoring, teaching, or mentoring capacity preferred.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
