Job description
- Petal Path Montessori Academy is looking for a warm, engaging, and reliable Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role in September as we expand programming. We are a boutique Montessori-inspired early childhood program focused on child-led learning, hands-on exploration, creativity, and building meaningful relationships with children and families. We are looking for someone who is energetic, collaborative, nurturing, and excited to help create a beautiful learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting children through play-based and hands-on learning experiences
- Assisting with daily classroom routines and transitions
- Creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment
- Encouraging social-emotional development and independence
- Collaborating with teachers and leadership to support classroom activities
- Maintaining classroom organization and cleanliness
Qualifications
- EEC Teacher certification preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education
- Montessori knowledge or interest is a plus
