Job description

  • BMS Pediatric Therapy Group, P.C. is a therapist owned private practice providing high quality speech and developmental therapy services to children ages 6 months through 18 years across the Chicagoland area.
  • We partner with school districts to deliver specialized, compliant, and student-centered related services.
  • We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during school year 2026-2027 for our school district partner located near Matteson, IL Job Responsibilities Provide direct speech language therapy services in alignment with IEP accommodations and goals.
  • Implement existing IEP goals and collect data to support progress monitoring within a condensed instructional timeframe.
  • Collaborate with speech pathologists, special education teachers, and related service providers to support student access and participation.
  • Complete required documentation, daily service logs, and end of session progress summaries in accordance with district timelines.
  • Support students with mild to intensive communication needs in small group and classroom based settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university required State of Illinois SLPA License Prior school based experience preferred. Strong understanding of IEP implementation and compliance procedures required. Schedule August- June Monday-Friday (8:00 am-3:30 pm) Full- time Onsite in the south suburbs of Chicago.
