Human resources assistant - Full-Time

Celebrate the Children, a school for children with alternative learning styles has a full-time opening for a dynamic Human Resource Assistant to join our team and work at our Denville campus.

Key responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Actively support the hiring process by managing job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboarding: Assist in welcoming and processing new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • HR
  • Support: Handle day-to-day HR tasks, act as a liaison for employee inquiries and assist in coordination of employee recognition events.
  • Project
  • Management: Engage in various HR department initiatives to enhance organizational functions.

Human resources assistant minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the school HRIS, ADP Workforce Now talent management system.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The salary provided is for a 12-month contracted position.
