Job summary
- St.
- Cletus School, in St.
- Charles, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resource Instructor to join our faith-based learning community.
- The ideal candidate will work with another Resource Instructor to provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic, social, and spiritual growth, along with being a liaison between St.
- Cletus and the local public school district.
- This role requires a commitment to inclusive education and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- The part-time position would include Monday all day and Friday mornings.
Job responsibilities
· Assist in developing and implementing individualized plans tailored to student needs.
· Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations
· Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays.
· Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth.
· Collaborate with resource teacher, general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support.
· Work with the local public school district in regards to testing and students receiving services.
· Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly.
· Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities.
Job requirements
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or a related field – preferred.
· Valid state teaching certification in Special Education - preferred.
· Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based setting.
· Strong understanding of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
