  • Required Qualifications American Red Cross CPR Specialty certification where applicable (Les Mills, Spinning, Yoga, Pilates mat, Barre,Tai Chi, Feldenkrais, QiGong) Working knowledge of program activity practices and procedures.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in the English language, active listening, dynamic flexibility, critical thinking, multi-task and time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent sound judgment and employ reasoning skills.
  • Client service minded, entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass FBI and DOJ Criminal Check.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience as a Group Exercise instructor. Knowledge of campus policies and procedures. Basic skills in computer programs relevant to job duties. Nationally recognized Group Exercise instructor certification

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
