Overview PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provide administrative support to the education department.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform general clerical, receptionist and project-based work for the department. May interview new students and prepare their initial Academic Plan. Function as the school liaison. Confer with staff members, parents, guardians, teachers, therapists and administrators regarding Academic Plan. Meet and greet residents and visitors. Assist the Education Director with daily functions of the department. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
