The CRNA will evaluate patients pre-operatively, formulate anesthetic plans, and administer anesthesia autonomously. They will also ensure patient safety during transport and postoperative care.
Candidates must have a Master's Degree in a related field and 1-3 years of related experience. Required licenses include RN, BLS, and CRNA certification.
Skilled in the use and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Skill to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and other hospital employees. Ability to assist with patients who may need ICU ventilators, high-risk intubations and facilitate fiber optic intubations. Computer skills required.
