  • Start date: 6/1/2026 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Grace Beginnings Academy Toddler Teacher is passionate about caring for 16-33 months of age in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate partners with parents, and supports each child’s growth in their physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. This teacher plans and implements lessons aligned with the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress that are Biblically based and rooted in play.
  • This is a full-time, year-round position with an 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule. Create a Christ-centered learning environment for children ages 16-33 months. Provide educational experiences in the classroom which demonstrate an understanding of learning domains, Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and assessments. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of the students in the classroom. Collaborate with the Toddler Grade Level Team in planning lessons and activities throughout the school year. Daily communicate with families on the success, challenges and activities of the day. Meet regularly with parents both informally and formally throughout year to address child needs Conduct parent teacher conferences twice a year Follow the directives of the Infant and Toddler Director to maintain high standards in the classroom and provide a quality learning experience for the children Maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom and assume the responsibility to complete the duties required to maintain an orderly facility Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patience Attend all required training and staff meetings throughout the year. Attend all school community events throughout the year, even if outside schedule hours Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for teaching children from 6 weeks to 33 months.
