Job description

Status: Part-Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position

  • Hourly, Part-Time Lead Advocate Position serving youth and families throughout Philadelphia and Delaware County is available.
  • Lead Advocate must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
  • Primary responsibilities of the Lead Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families
  • All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.

Position offers flexible hours, weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Pay: $22

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage is required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
