This role involves assisting the Montessori Lead Primary Teacher in a 3-6 year old class by supporting student learning, facilitating transitions, and maintaining a prepared environment. The aide will also act as the lead teacher in the afternoon napping environment and foster positive interactions with students and parents.
The Educational Aide will support the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans for preschool and kindergarten students, reinforcing lessons and maintaining a warm, structured, and authentically Catholic classroom environment. Key duties include assisting with classroom setup, student supervision during activities and transitions, and modeling Catholic virtues.
The Preschool Teacher will lead daily prayer, deliver Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I formation, and provide developmentally appropriate instruction in early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning for three and four-year-olds.
