  • Friday 7:30am-3:30pm What You Will Do Deliver responsive, student-centered care by managing illness, injuries, and chronic health conditions to ensure a safe, supportive, and healthy learning environment. Champion continuous health monitoring by keenly observing, documenting, and communicating student wellness updates to parents, faculty, and healthcare providers for proactive intervention. Act as the primary care coordinator across families, school administrators, and community healthcare providers to seamlessly bridge communication and support student well-being. Translate individualized health plans into action by accurately executing physician orders and administering medications to keep students safe and focused in the classroom. Drive proactive wellness planning in collaboration with the school community to ensure students experience a smooth, well-prepared transition back to learning after medical absences.

  • Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences Pediatric experience preferred.
