The high school apprentice provides basic supportive functions to department leadership to assist with team operations. Duties are designed to be age-appropriate and within the scope of a high school student.
Candidates must be at least 16.5 years old and currently in the 11th grade or higher. Participation in the GWPP Job Shadowing program is required.
*Student must have completed and been apart of the GWPP Job Shadowing*
The high school apprentice will work in conjunction with department leadership to support team functions within identified job duties. These duties are within scope of a high school student, and do not require a certificate, degree, or licensure to perform. Performs basic, supportive department functions within training level and age appropriate.
