The assistant will support 3-to-6-year-old children during afternoon and extended day programs. Responsibilities include preparing the learning environment and implementing a Montessori approach to education.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience with young children and an Associate's degree or higher. Experience with Montessori education as a student or staff member is preferred.

Lake Country School (LCS) is a leader in understanding and supporting young people as they grow and develop. At LCS, young people learn broadly and deeply about history, the earth, themselves, and living in a human community that is interconnected with the natural world.
We are looking for candidates who love to be with young children, who would joyfully support 3-to 4-year-old children during the afternoon program (12-4:00 PM), and 3-6 year-old children in the after-school program (4:00-5:30 PM), called Extended Day. This individual will assist in preparing the environment and implementing a Montessori approach to the program. A successful candidate will work well with a team and have a strong desire to learn more about Montessori education.
