GENERAL SUMMARY Boston College High School seeks a dynamic and mission-aligned Middle School Counselor for the 2026-2027 year.
The counselor works with teachers, the other Arrupe Middle School counselor, and the administration to support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. The school counselors are essential members of the Arrupe Middle School leadership team. Reports To: Head of the Arrupe Middle School and the Director of School and College Counseling
SELECTION CRITERIA Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in counseling preferred. Demonstrated experience working with 7th and 8th grade students Demonstrated experience with middle school advisory programs Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills The ability to work with students and parents and to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support students Commitment to the mission and values of Jesuit, Catholic education and holistic student formation.
Commensurate with academic attainment and years of applicable teaching experience: $57,000–$118,000 annually.
