Instructors are responsible for delivering education services to students, which includes preparing course plans, delivering courses, and monitoring student progress. They also fulfill faculty duties in various instructional settings and participate in program and community activities.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing, with a Doctorate preferred, and possess a current unrestricted State of Florida RN or APRN license. Additionally, a minimum of two years of full-time nursing practice and teaching experience is required, with experience in learning outcomes assessments preferred.
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through: Preparing course plans and materials Delivering courses Monitoring progress/attendance Advising students Recording grades and submitting reports Fulfilling faculty duties of instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites Meeting the credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards Participating in program, institution and community activities
Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing. Doctorate Degree in Nursing is preferred.
