The Academic Program Administrator supports all aspects of the Center for Digital Humanities' academic and co-curricular programs, ensuring smooth execution and growth of curricular offerings and student engagement initiatives. They manage graduate and undergraduate program administration, including tracking student progress, coordinating courses, and planning events.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience, with strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in an academic environment and familiarity with academic program administration.
Graduate Program Administration Tracking student progress and maintaining student records. Communicating program updates to stakeholders Coordinating CDH-led and cross-listed graduate courses. Managing graduate fellowships and grants. Planning and executing graduate events. Managing student outreach lists and student-related website content. Undergraduate Program Administration Providing administrative support for all undergraduate opportunities Coordinating and promoting CDH cross-listed undergraduate courses. Supporting the development and evaluation of new undergraduate initiatives. Contributing to research, analysis, and reporting on undergraduate engagement and expansion strategies. General CDH Administrative Support Supporting CDH's administrative operations and special projects as needed, such as planning, scheduling, managing and overseeing events, projects or activities.
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of work experience. Ability to exercise good judgement, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information in a discreet manner. Highly effective organizational skills; excellent attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to make presentations to faculty, staff, leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work independently. Advanced level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-suite.
Experience in an academic environment, familiarity with academic program administration, and experience managing fellowship or grant cycles. Working knowledge of Princeton University applications, especially PeopleSoft, Stellic, and other student management software.
