Provide integrated mental health and substance abuse services, including therapy and crisis intervention, within high school Wellness Centers. Collaborate with school staff and community partners to deliver culturally competent care and clinical case management to students and families.
Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and valid BBS or Board of Psychology licensure. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish with at least two years of combined experience in high-school and community mental health settings.
The Behavioral Health Counselor offers integrated mental health & substance abuse services that include individual, group, and family therapy, clinical case management, intakes/assessments, clinical evaluations, crisis intervention and consultation services in identified SFUSD high school Wellness Centers. The Wellness Centers are a joint project between RAMS, SFDPH and SFUSD.
