The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment and implementing age-appropriate activities for children transitioning from infancy to toddlerhood. Key duties include guiding daily routines, documenting developmental progress, and partnering with families and colleagues.
Candidates must be Infant/Toddler and Preschool Qualified according to Maryland licensing requirements and pass a background check. A CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred along with prior experience with young children.

At The Learning Experience, our Twaddler classroom serves children as they transition from infancy into toddlerhood. This exciting stage is filled with language development, growing independence, social exploration, and early learning experiences. Our teachers create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to discover the world around them.
The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Twaddler classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting young children as they develop communication skills, confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Support language development, early communication skills, and positive peer interactions
Guide daily routines including meals, diapering, transitions, and rest periods
Build trusting relationships with children and families
Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
Observe and document children's developmental progress
Partner with fellow teachers to ensure a consistent and positive classroom experience
Follow all Maryland childcare licensing and health and safety requirements
Qualifications: Must be Infant/Toddler and Preschool Qualified according to Maryland licensing requirements
Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for early childhood education and child development
Must meet all Maryland licensing and background check requirements
