Candidates should have 12+ ECE units or a willingness to complete them, along with a passion for the Montessori philosophy. Experience with children ages 3–6 is preferred but not required.

MSOSV is seeking a Montessori Teacher / Assistant Teacher (Primary Ages 3–6) who brings more heart, hustle, and genuine love for children than a long list of credentials. What You’ll Do Support the Lead Guide in creating a calm, beautiful, and engaging Montessori environment for children ages 3–6 Build meaningful relationships with children, helping them develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning Observe children’s development and contribute to classroom documentation Model grace, courtesy, and respectful communication every day Collaborate closely with a supportive team of senior educators Take on increasing responsibilities as you grow toward becoming a Lead Guide Learn from hands-on mentorship and professional development activity This is a hands-on role designed for real growth — not just another assistant teaching job.
Who We’re Looking For 100% buy-in to our core philosophy of “Children First, Always.” A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and patient, nurturing presence 12+ ECE units (or the willingness to complete them — we’ll support you) Experience working with children ages 3–6 is preferred, but not required Genuine interest in Montessori education and a desire to become a future Primary Lead Guide Excellent communication and organizational skills Reliability, professionalism, and a child-centered approach
Montessori experience is welcome but not required. We’re happy to train and mentor the right person who is passionate about learning and growing within the Montessori philosophy.
