The specialist is responsible for collecting client employment data and managing retention programming, including events and celebrations. They also facilitate employment workshops and collaborate with service providers to help residents achieve housing and vocational goals.
A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with required experience in addiction, mental illness, or homelessness. Candidates must have strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and a CPR certification or willingness to be trained.
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
BA preferred. Prior experience required in the fields of addiction, mental illness or homelessness. Career counseling, vocational training, workshop development and facilitation experience preferred. Must possess excellent writing and oral communication skills. Computer proficiency required. Must be able to work in a high-stress, high-volume environment, while maintaining positive open communications with other components of the treatment team. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
