This position will be a one-semester contract with possibility of renewal. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Master’s degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment. One year experience teaching writing at the college level.
ABD or terminal degree in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment. Three or more years’ experience teaching writing at the college level; experience with teaching or scholarship in one or more of these areas: Creative Writing, English Education, Literature, Linguistics, African American Studies, and/or Diverse or Global Rhetorics.
Compensation for the Fall 2026 semester will be $3,500 per class. Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
