Provide age-appropriate developmental services for infants and toddlers aged 0-3 in their natural environments. Administer assessments, create Individual Family Service Plans, and facilitate transitions to next placements.
Requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood special education, social work, or a related field, plus professional licensure or a master's degree. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working with young children.
Developmental Specialist works with families to provide age-appropriate developmental services for infants and toddlers, 0-3 years of age. Developmental Specialists travel to meet families in their most natural environment often in their home or village. Developmental Specialists work within a multidiscipline team and help children and families transition into their next placement before the age of 3.
A Developmental Specialist II will administer assessment and provide written report supporting their determinations, create Individual Family Service Plans and provide Child Outcome Summaries.
This position will adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the BBAHC Policy and Procedures Manual and the State and Federal Rules and Regulations.
