DSS (Job Coach) - Part time - (EMP, SFV)

Other Duties

1. Perform other duties as assigned 2. Perform other off-site duties as assigned 3. Participate in weekly meetings, trainings, etc. as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• 1.
• Required to complete 40-hour ACRE training and obtain certification within six months of hire 2.
• Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities desirable.
• Requires initiative, creativity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• 3.
• After hours and weekend availability required 4.
• Must be able to successfully complete First Aid/CPR 5.
• Must have current California Driver’s license/Insurance and clean DMV 6.
• Must receive criminal record clearance through the DOJ 7.
• Must have reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, a valid California driver license and driving record acceptable to TASC insurance provider 8.
• After hours and open availability required 9.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English 10.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in English 11.
• Maintain all certifications up to date

Physical Requirements

• 1.
• Ability to drive company and/or personal vehicle for work, including transporting clients to and from work and/or appointments as needed, maintain valid driver’s license and car insurance, if required to drive for position.
• 2.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• 3.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards 4.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
