Assist certificated staff in the education and behavioral management of students with cognitive, communication, and emotional disabilities. Provide instructional support, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and ensure student safety and hygiene.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, with additional college credits or state assessments required for Title Schools. Candidates must be physically capable of handling students and reacting to emergency situations.
This position may require the ability to use SMART boards and iPads in addition to basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine. Must always comply with USD 259's guidelines for equipment use.
