The Family Advocate serves as a liaison between Head Start families and program services to provide support in health, education, and nutrition. Key duties include conducting home visits, managing caseloads for prenatal mothers and children aged 0-5, and connecting families with community resources.
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, though an Associate degree may be considered. Candidates must possess a valid Maine Driver's License with reliable transportation and preferably have experience in case management.
