Adjunct Instructor, Education

Department of Educator Preparation invites applicants for the position of Adjunct Instructor. Teaching/Supervision responsibilities include face-to-face instruction for most courses. Residency courses require online instruction at scheduled times.

Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirements: Earned Master’s Degree in Education or a related field Experience and Training Preference will be given to candidates with practitioner and higher education teaching experience Knowledge, Skills, Ability: Leadership skills and practitioner-based education experiences Effective pedagogical practices Current educational standards and expectations in the course content ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Face-to-face instruction per scheduled course requirements or scheduled online instruction for residency courses Teaching towards student mastery of course objectives Maintaining high expectations for all students For more information regarding this position please contact Dr. Jordan Widelock, Chair and Assistant Professor at jwideloc@highpoint.edu.
