Develop and organize interactive curriculum and lesson plans across multiple subjects for adult and English language learners using Canvas LMS. Teach and coach students in classroom and online settings to ensure curriculum effectiveness and alignment with learning outcomes.
Requires a bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field. Candidates must have experience in curriculum development and proficiency with Canvas or a similar Learning Management System.

This is a teaching position focused on curriculum development. Curriculum development across multiple subject areas, including math, science, digital literacy, and language, with content appropriate for adult learners and English language learners. This position will partner with Adult Education staff to transform ideas, expertise, and existing materials into engaging, well-structured learning experiences. This role plays a key part in designing a clear, interactive curriculum that supports students’ success in our Applied Learning Lab, online, and classroom environments.
Using Canvas LMS and other open-source materials, this position will build organized lesson plans and hands-on learning modules, as well as instructional content, and ensure that courses align with established learning outcomes and best practices in instructional design.
This person needs to be able to balance innovation with practicality and continuously improve curriculum to adapt to changes in funding requirements. Teaching will provide the practical classroom experience needed to ensure curriculum development remains effective, relevant, and aligned with program and funding needs.
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
