The Social Worker identifies and eliminates barriers to learning by supporting students and families through assessments and interventions. They act as a liaison between the school and community agencies to improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, a relevant Master's degree, and Florida certification in School Social Work (PK-12). Candidates must pass a background screening and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive community building.
Success in this role is measured by improving student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes and acting as a liaison with community agencies to ensure services.
This role reports directly to the Assistant Principal of Operations and works regionally with the Manager of Student Support Services. The schedule mirrors the school staff hours, and this is a year-round position. This role is available at KIPP BOLD CITY HIGH SCHOOL.
