• Range: $23.00 - $23.00 HourlySelf-Direction DSP- Camillus ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an active young man who enjoys swimming and video games. He is currently attending Inclusive U at Syracuse University. He is seeking an experienced, engaging, and motivating individual to work with over summer break, who will assist him with becoming more involved in community activities and strengthening independent living skills. Then, during fall semester, you will accompany him to his classes, assist with note taking, organization, time management, test accommodations, including reading questions to him in a separate area, and supporting him to complete his work. In addition, you will assist him with becoming more involved with campus activities. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.
• Hours and
• Days of work: Hours would be flexible over the summer. In the fall, the schedule will be daytime, weekday shifts to accommodate his class schedule. Additional hours would be available for events or activities in the evenings, weekends, or during college breaks.

Payrate

Camillus, NY Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
