Description

Position Summary

To provide specialized staff coverage for clients participating in the employment programs of The Moore Center’s Community-Based Services (CBS) Program.

PAY

$21/HR.

Essential Responsibilities

Adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation Provide exceptional employment support services to the individuals we serve in compliance with their Individual Service Agreements Provide coverage when needed to all jobs held by Moore Center individuals Transport clients as required by the program Provide training and support both on-site to job coaches and individuals we support Understand Department of Labor Regulations and their impact on the people we support in the workforce Provide daily, weekly and monthly documentation per state and agency requirements Assist in implementation of Supported employment goals for individuals served Ensure general health and safety of client(s) and all environments as assigned on a daily basis Communicate effectively with clients, host business, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless translation of knowledge Assist individuals in Activities of Daily Living, including but not limited to personal care Problem solve independently and make accommodations when needed Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in employment settings preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours $100,000/300,000 Automobile Liability Insurance Skills and Abilities Demonstrate a commitment to the Moore Center’s values Comply with all state, agency and department policies and procedures Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems Work independently and as part of a collaborative team in multiple different employment environments Assist individuals in community and vocational settings Provide personal care and behavioral support, including but not limited to physical assistance as needed Maintain professional demeanor in emotionally charged situations Demonstrate high level of flexibility with changes in job, schedule and duties
