Job Summary/Basic Functions
The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking an assistant coach for Men's Lacrosse. Graduate tuition remission may be possible after one year of employment. Coaching duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation and coaching, recruiting, academics, fundraising, and the off-season program.
This positing will fill multiple openings.
- Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications
- Interest in collegiate lacrosse coaching.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with colleagues as well as student athletes.
Required Experience
- Experience as a Division III Men's Lacrosse coach, assistant coach or student-athlete.
- Experience developing and implementing a training regimen for lacrosse players.
Additional Considerations
- Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field.
- Experience
- 2-4 years experience as a Men's Lacrosse Coach.
- Experience coaching at the collegiate level.
- Experience with fundraising.
